Job Description
The successful candidate will join the Fixed Income Business Unit Control team based in Singapore, supporting the Fixed Income business in the APAC region. As a BUC, your key responsibilities will be to provide value-added support to the business through the control, reporting and analysis of key financial and management information.
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of revenues generated by the trading desk
- Ensure the balance sheet and risk systems accurately reflect risks involved in business activities
- To ensure the general ledger properly reflects the PL and the valuations of the products held
- You will also be involved in the support and control of new business and change the bank implementations / projects as required
- Responsibility to provide commentary to management on the business, analyzing significant market and position factors contributing to these results
The Successful Applicant
Our ideal candidates should have the following requisites:
- Between 5 to 7 years experience in a product controlling environment
- You should be a CPA or possess a good degree in Accountancy or Finance
- Have a strong understanding of the valuation and risk of fixed income, credit and/or rates products
- Derivatives knowledge would be an advantage
- You should be a self-starter, as well as a committed team player with good interpersonal and communication skills and enjoy the challenges of a fast-paced environment.
