Product Controller – Money Markets Treasury recruitment
The Treasury Money Markets team is currently split into two reporting teams, and supports their front office desks, providing PL reporting, weekly/monthly balance sheet reporting, reconciliation of ledgers and investigation, analysis and correction of errors. A significant part of the position is also based around supporting business growth by implementing new products and processes. The individual needs to be business focussed, and be looking for a hands-on role where they are expected to be detailed and thorough in all aspects of their work.
Requirements:
- Money Markets product knowledge and understanding - commercial papers, certificates of deposit, interest rate and currency swaps, forward rate agreements, futures contracts, loans and deposits, call and current accounts, nostros, T-Bills etc.
- Strong understanding of the Balance sheet and its relationship to profit and loss accounts.
- Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Strong Access and Excel skills (VBA is preferable)
- People management experience (for the Manager role specifically)
