Working for a major international bank, you will be a key member of the product control team. This is a high profile role where you will be communicating with senior management regularly working in a fast paced environment. The position sits within the front office Business As Usual team. You will be an accountant with 3-5 years PQE with solid banking, product control experience. Knowledge, exposure and understanding of equity derivatives is imperative.
Responsibilities
- Ensure processes are accurately followed so specific parts of the Balance Sheet for the Emerging Market Business are appropriately valued with respect to current best practice and Accounting Standards
- Work with Business Financial Control to deliver single view of the PL and Balance Sheet
- Produce information on trading desk's funding position
- Strong experience with equity derivatives
- Excellent understanding of balance sheets
- Strong Access, EXCEL and VBA knowledge
- Strong exposure to the full project lifecycle from front to back office
- Solid product knowledge over all asset classes
Requirements
- 5+ years in product Control experience in major UK bank
- IFRS Product knowledge
- Qualified accountant and overall strong academically
