Product Data Executive recruitment

Accountabilities and deliverables:

•  To “understand” the Fund data delivered;

•  Where the data originates from and why

•  The methodology of the data calculation

•  The nuances of the data i.e. ex-poste/ex-ante – fund management data/fund reporting data

• To actively seek opportunities to utlise Fund data within the business

• To proactively seek to improve the data quality, processes and deployment of the Fund data

• To ensure consistent and timely delivery of the Fund data to client’s via Data Vendors, Fund Platforms, Consultant Databases and in Client  Reports

• To be responsible for the dissemination of Fund data which can be utilised throughout Global Business Development

• To ensure that the static semi-static Fund data is both timely and accurate

• To produce Fund data reports to meet client (internal and external) needs

• To develop other members of the team through training, knowledge dissemination and ad hoc support

• Seek to become a central knowledge resource for the business

Governance:

• Policies. Policies owned by the role holder are appropriate, effectively communicated, continuously reviewed, monitored for compliance and embedded.

• Committees. The role holder will ensure that committees and sub-committees, for which he/she is the Chair, are appropriately staffed, and deliver effectively against their Terms of Reference.

• Risk. Role holder will assure him/herself of adequacy of systems and controls for mitigating the risks in all delegated and retained responsibilities, including systems to ensure that individuals in all roles to whom responsibilities have been delegated are competent to fulfil their roles.

• Systems. Role holder will undertake a regular review of the systems and controls in their function and ensure recommendations for improvement are implemented.

• Group. Meets the requirements for Group and regulatory deliverables.

• Oversight.  The role holder will operate within an environment of good control and governance whilst having a strong grasp of the regulatory, legal and business risk implications of opportunities and decisions.

•  Educated to degree level

•  Good knowledge of the asset management industry

•  Strong written and verbal communicator           

•  Driven to improve policies, procedures presentation

•  High level of planning and organisational skills

•  Analytical curious mindset, with good attention to detail

•  Ability to develop strong working relationships

•  Strong word and excel

SKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE:

•  Passed, studying or willing to undertake the IMC

•  Aviva Investors capabilities, strategies products

•  Good knowledge of the asset management industry

•  Strong written and verbal communicator           

•  Driven to improve policies, procedures presentation

•  High level of planning and organisational skills

•  Analytical curious mindset, with good attention to detail

•  Ability to develop strong working relationships
