Auburn Gear has an opening for a talented Product Design Engineer.
Responsibilities for this position include new product development from concept to implementation, cost reduction projects, customer support for current product and plant technical support.
The qualified candidate will possess: BS degree in mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering technology with a minimum of five years experience designing projects from conception to production launch and proficient with 3D solid modeling and 2D CAD. Working knowledge of the following is a plus: FEA, FMEA, gear design, bearing analysis, brake design, and hydraulics.
