PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ANALYST (PENSIONS) recruitment
Core Responsibilities:
- The new employee will take over the development of new models, however, this is not a coding role as there is a development team who do this part of the work.
- For this role they require someone who has pensions knowledge, from a consultancy or life office background. They would also be required to have modeling knowledge, and be of a Part Qualified Actuary level (Core subjects plus ST6).
- Help interpret market requirements and translate them into product requirements that directly influence how the software development team design the functional specification of the software offering.
- These should be detailed and specific enough such that those undertaking design can create functional specifications.
- Where appropriate demonstrate functionality through Excel based working examples.
- Engage with clients and CRM team to understand future demand and regulatory forces which will shape products, either through new offerings or enhancements.

Core Requirements:
- Have a strong understanding of Pensions ALM offerings and how clients currently use these to solve problems.
- You have the knowledge to understand the needs of the Company’s Pensions clients in the areas of ALM, risk and asset management.
- You will have sufficient knowledge of software development to be able to write cohesive product specifications.
- Experience with software and systems architecture development.
- Solid understanding of financial concepts including risk management, asset management and the pricing of financial instruments.
- First degree in computing, finance, mathematics or other relevant discipline.
- Post graduate or professional qualification such as Actuarial, CFA or similar.
- Pensions consultancy or management with in-depth ALM experience.
