Product Development Executive
The firm has developed and continues to develop a range of products for distribution to wholesale and institutional clients, in the UK, US, Europe and Asia. This range includes Dublin UCITS vehicles and Dublin Qualified Investor Funds, Cayman and US onshore vehicles.
The products cover all asset classes including Capital Markets, Alternatives (commodities funds and fund of hedge funds), Private Equity and Real Estate.
This is a high profile and business critical role, given the importance of developing innovative products to the future growth and continued success of the business. There will be a strong emphasis on working with a number of business areas, in particular the portfolio management teams, sales teams and operations to help set and deliver the agenda for future product growth.
Products are both pooled and segregated and for distribution to wholesale and institutional clients in the UK, US, Europe and Asia.
Accountabilities-
- ?Act as a contact point for issues and queries arising through the new product development process.
- Support the business on issues such as market and product trends, fund domicile and structures.
- Support a transparent and consistent process across the firm to evaluate and quantify the business case for all product changs.
- Assist in advising the distribution and investment teams on product strategy and development considerations across a range of diverse areas including tax, requirements of regulatory jurisdictions, including Dublin, Guernsey, and Jersey, potential operational efficiencies and issues and getting speed to market.
- Support product strategy and development across all asset classes and all functions including manufacturing, distribution and infrastructure.
The following criteria are all pre-requisites to application:
- A first or a 2.1 from a recognised leading university.
- IMC / CFA qualification.
- An understanding of asset management and product development.
- The ability to express complex concepts in clear language.
- A strong entrepreneurial and commercial outlook, combined with a desire to learn and develop an in-depth knowledge of investment management, regulatory jurisdictions and the institutional investment management space.
- Good investment knowledge across a broad range of investment strategies.
- Intellect with the ability to act in a proactive professional manner, either autonomously or as part of a broader team.
- Initiative and drive.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- A demonstrable ability to lead.
