Product Development Head – Private Banking recruitment

JOB DESCRIPTION:

To conceptualize, design and set-up the product infrastructure and product suite for private banking Singapore.
Oversee product development matters such as due diligence on new counterparties, obtaining regulatory management approvals, design of policies and processes, value proposition of product, etc.
On-going evaluation of new products with the intention of identifying product themes/ product features/ product positioning for private banking clients.
Ensure all products are managed and maintained properly on an on-going basis.
Build-up and lead a team of product specialists.

SKILLS:

Good understanding of the private banking business, as well as various investment products such as equities, fixed income, unit trust funds, and other sophisticated investment instruments.
Strong ability in leading projects and various product development initiatives.
Possess an inquisitive mind and strong analytical abilities.

ABILITIES:

Strong leadership and management skills and able to lead a team of experienced product specialists.
Must be diligent, disciplined and organized.
Strong ability to multi-task while maintaining a keen eye for details.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 10 to 12 years of working experience in product development and/or management in banking and financial institutions.
Relevant working experience in private banking, wealth management and/or asset management firms will be preferred.
Possess a relevant Masters or Bachelors Degree such as accounting, finance, business management, etc. from a reputable university.

Must have working experience in Singapore.
