Product Development Manager
Role Responsibilities
- In conjunction with the Head of Equity and the ETF desk prepare feasibility studies and business cases for new products for submission to the Global Product Committee
- Evolve the appropriate features on our passive products to improve the scale and distribution of the product
- Work with the Fixed Income Capability Head to explore Fixed Income ETF proposition
- Establish global best practice for passive products from a technical and governance perspective
- To work with local product teams and the registration team, to prepare registration business cases for new products, and for new registration for existing products.
- To prepare board approvals as appropriate.
- Developing effective and robust passive products that adhere to the ever changing regulatory environment
Background Experience
- Significant previous product development experience with passive products
- Excellent knowledge of fund management industry and trends within the passive segment
- Knowledge of Index methodologies, portfolio construction, and risk management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team oriented environment
- Commercially focussed with excellent presentations skills
