Deliver best-in-class transaction banking products to meet clients and business needs globally.
Transaction Banking is about to embark on a multi-million dollar 5 year transformation project for its global cash management business. This Director level role is based in Singapore and will also require the individual to travel for product platform implementations within the Bank's network.

This role manages the product development and operating model for our Cash Product Platforms and also looks into ongoing enhancements and development of the platform.

In this role the individual acts as the key liaison between Global Local Product Managers, Global Sales Client Implementation teams, Global Technology and Operations to deliver solutions to meet our changing business and clients requirements.

Key Roles Responsibilities

1) Responsible for developing business requirements
Work with our Sales, Client Implementation and Operations teams to document business requirements for new products and platforms or for enhancements to existing products and processes.
Work with Business Analysts to interpret business requirements for technical teams, and assists technical teams in requirements understanding
Translates technical alternatives and solution plans to business teams, and assists business teams in understanding the impacts.
2) Responsible for quality delivery of Product projects on time and budget.
Defining functional requirements and review technical solution for platforms.
Defining operating model and client implementation procedures in conjunction with Operations, Client Implementation teams, Client Service Group and Technology partners.
Monitoring the implementation of the end-to-end delivery of product projects milestones
Managing User Acceptance Test and Production Trial runs.
3) Responsible for successful platform implementations in countries and regions.
Ensuring successful product implementation post technical implementation.
Ensuring adequate training and knowledge transfer to in-country users.
Supporting client migration and post implementation review.
4) Responsible for annual platform review.
Managing the annual platform and related channel partner upgrade projects.
Continuous process improvement to update platforms to improve operations flexibility and business relevance.
Forward looking planning for pipeline initiatives.
5) Responsible for on-going Service Reviews.
Establishing and monitoring Service Level Agreements with technology and support teams.
Enforcing root cause analysis and change process to ensure quality resolution.

Qualifications Skills

Degree in Business or equivalent disciplines. Masters Degree in Business or Information Technology is an advantage.
Strong Product management, Project management, and analytical problem solving skills.
Solid product management experience in implementing medium-large scale product enablers and platforms in the transaction banking area and across multiple countries.
Good knowledge of Payments processes and solutions.
Good understanding of Client requirements in the Transaction Banking area and in particular the Payments space.
This role will require someone who has successfully undertaken virtual team management across multiple geographies, cultures, internal teams and external vendors.
Ability to work to tight timelines and at the same time produces a quality deliverable.
Must have the ability to engage senior stakeholders within business, operations and technology.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
English is a must, other languages are a plus.
8+ years of banking experience
