Since the launch of Europe's leading Blue-chip index, the EURO STOXX 50, STOXX is providing thorough and sustainable index concepts that surpass any standard within the industry. The indices are licensed to more than 400 companies among the world's largest financial products issuers, capital owners, and asset managers. They are used not only as underlyings for financial products such as ETFs, futures and options, and structured products, but also for risk and performance measurement.
The STOXX Product Development Team is responsible for the design and development of innovative new indices to add to the above.
To be located at our office in Frankfurt/M, Germany, we are currently looking for a Product Development Manager.
Product Development Manager
Main duties:
As primary contact person for all fixed income indices in STOXX, the successful candidate will be part of the STOXX product development team and take responsibility for:
- The development of new indices in close coordination with the customers of STOXX.
- The development of indices for bonds over equities to alternative asset classes such as for example commodities.
- Designing indices according to customer and market de-mands as well as implementation within STOXX and all necessary coordination with the sales, marketing, PR and IT teams.
- The continuous improvement of the created products and services and their adoption to changes in the respective financial markets.
- The management of market consultation committees and the attendance of international specialist conferences.
Your profile:
- A masters degree in finance or sciences
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in the financial industry especially with respect to fixed income
- Excellent understanding of financial markets especially fixed income markets
- Strong numerical and analytical skills as well as excellent problem solving capabilities
- Proficiency in relevant IT applications (Excel, Access, SQL); programming skills are a plus
- Excellent communication skills, especially in written and verbal English (additional languages are a plus)
- Self-motivation and a great desire to independently lead index development projects
- Very good team player
