Product Development Manager recruitment

Our client, a leading asset management firm, currently seeks a Product Development Manager, to be based in London

The Product Development Manager will be responsible for:

-Designing and development of proposals - conduct market research in order to establish a fund's viability in the market, competitor landscape and pricing
-Leading projects to deliver fund launches, re-positionings and other changes - across a wide range of businesses and asset classes
-Partnering with stakeholders in client facing teams, portfolio management, research strategy and operating teams to implement the product development agenda
-Co-ordinating and supporting new product structures solutions and changes to existing structures.

As such, the successful Product Development Manager will have the following skills and experience:

-Previous experience in the investment funds industry/business
-Good investment knowledge across a broad range of investment strategies and products is preferred
-Preference for experience in Product Development (i.e,. the design, coordination and launch of new funds, and changes to existing pooled funds)
-Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business, operations and suppliers at all levels of management up to and including Board of Director level
-Proactive approach to lead and direct change
