A c$350 million global division of a multi billion dollar group, is needing to hire a Product Director in the Electronics / Electromechanical market that can grow new innovative product lines for its’ highly lucrative global market.
There is a very significant opportunity to bring innovation to key product lines and establish a higher value add range of propositions to a global market – delivering multiple benefits to the customer and becoming the product and brand of choice.
Overview of Role
Principal responsibilities will include:
1. To develop and implement strategies to drive forward and significantly develop product groups to ensure market and brand leadership status throughout the company’s selected regions.
2. To act as focal point and Product ‘Champion’ for the global range of products.
3. To ‘own’ and develop future product plans.
4. To define and bring innovative new products to the global market – offering lower installation costs, ease of installation, quicker installation etc.
5. To further develop and maximise revenue opportunities from existing products.
6. Provide strong leadership to the product team and key stakeholders throughout the company.
