Job Title: Product Control
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a fully Qualified Accountant with at least 2/3 years experience to join one of our leading Investment Banking clients in this 6 month Product Control Role. Working int he Capital Markets division you will be expected to have relevant Treasury experience and previous Banking experience. This challenging role will initially be for a period of 6 months and my client is looking to fill this position ASAP.
The Role:
* Producing Daily PL and getting involved in Month End Reporting
* Document the variance analysis of the PL and Balance Sheet for the month.
* Produce monthly management packs and provide detailed commentary to report to the board.
* Reconciliations of the PL, investigating and highlighting any queries.
* You will be responsible for producing Financial Information for the Capital Markets division.
The Requirements:
* Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA or CA) with at least 2/3 years experience of working in a Treasury Financial or Product Control role.
* Must be degree educated with a strong academic background.
* Detailed IAS39 / IFRS9 knowledge within the Investment Banking sector.
* Experience of working with derivatives (i.e. FX Interest rate swaps; Equity derivatives)
* System skills - Advanced Excel, Essbase.
Remuneration: £60,000 - £65,000 + 25 days holidays + benefits + bonus
