PRODUCT INVESTMENT SPECIALIST recruitment
Focusing on wholesale (Retail Funds) the individual will work within the Client Management function collaborating with colleagues internally and externally to aid in the successful promotion of the company’s fund range. The role holder will work with various fund research organisations, including SP and OBSR to manage and improve the ratings for the companies’ funds ensuring they are considered for inclusion in model portfolios and guided architecture initiatives which the relevant research organisations are commissioned to deliver and maintain.
Core Responsibilities:
- Promote the Company as a leading asset manager.
- Play a central role in delivery of the Retail Funds business plan.
- Supporting the overall management of the product line.
- Generate product/ service/ revenue raising ideas.
- Speaking at seminars, conducting meetings with key clients and providing investment training to clients and sales colleagues as required.
- Ensuring fund investment reports, marketing literature, RFP documents, press releases and presentations are informative, comprehensive, client focused.
- Being involved in investment discussions including attendance at investment and market-related meetings.
- Identify tasks and implementing solutions that will help to develop new business relationships.
- Keeping abreast of and be able to discuss current investment issues.
- Support the company sales teams in their drive for new business and the servicing of existing client relationships.
- Supporting the delivery of business in line with the agreed business plan.
- To acquire detailed knowledge of fund regulations and compliance issues.

Core Requirements:
- Educated to degree level, with relevant experience in an investment related role.
- The successful candidate should be IMC qualified as a minimum requirement.
- Understand of asset allocation models used to construct portfolios and investment process at fund level.
- Proven track record of supporting asset gathering and effective client management.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in asset management industry, preferably with a focus on asset allocation/multi asset funds.
- A thorough knowledge of key competition and the competitive environment.
- A good working knowledge of the legal and regulatory provisions.
