Product Lead/Story Owner, UI at Assembla (Boston, MA)

Job Description

Assembla is launching an agile product that takes teams and entire companies beyond scrum to continuous delivery. It combines ticketing and task management with modern edge code management, code review, and deployment. We seek an enthusiastic and versatile individual to take charge of the whole product delivery process handling both the high level and detail aspects. The candidate should have experience writing and designing quality stories, user personas, user scenarios, sketches, and markups.

To qualify for this position the candidates must have at least one of the following skills:
1) Be an expert in UI, usability and design.
2) Be an expert developer and team leader.
3) Be an experienced and opinionated Assembla user.
4) Be a knowledgeable and influential, actively practicing agile enthusiast.

Skills Requirements

• Understanding of what makes a great feature
• Ability to synthesize high level information and handle details
• Ability to stand up to sharp developers, answer questions and resolve debates
• Training or experience writing and designing quality stories, user personas, user scenarios, and mockups
• Understanding of what makes a good story
• Love for versatile responsibilities
• Experience with SVN, Git, Perforce and ticketing tools
• Very helpful: experience with continuous delivery
• Comfortable working with global development teams (open source, outsourced, or distributed)
