Product Management & Investor Relations (Executive)
Macquarie Agricultural Funds Management (MAFM) is responsible for building agricultural funds focussed on the management of 'real assets'. A part of the Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets business the MAFM business encompasses over 3.6m hectares of land purchased, developed and managed by Macquarie for agribusiness investments across sheep and cattle production, dairy, horticulture, viticulture, forestry, grains and oilseeds.
As a Product Manager you will be responsible for the ongoing management of existing institutional investments, including investor relations and distribution support. This includes the ongoing product management and investor relations for existing investments that effectively communicate MAFM's performance and strategic vision in a manner that enhances and protects MAFM's credibility. Your responsibilities will also include:
- Provide broad support to senior executives and wider team to manage the 'Request for Proposal' (RFP) process, 'Due Diligence Questionnaire' (DDQ) responses and other investor information requests
- Organizing and participating in marketing and client presentations
- Project managing the completion of investor reporting and requested information from investors.
- Assist with developing all fund marketing materials including Private Placement Memoranda, pitchbooks, data rooms, due diligence questionnaires, etc.
- Compile industry research (i.e. agriculture investing newsletters), research and track competitor activity and market dynamics in real time
- Assist with responding to investors' qualitative and quantitative due diligence questions and questionnaires
- Draft responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
About You
You will have an interest in agricultural investment; your superior written and verbal communication skills will support you to educating investors and internal stakeholders about agricultural markets. You will also have:
- Tertiary education (preferably bachelor of commerce with majors in accounting/finance/marketing or agriculture)
- Highly motivated self starter with ability to work both independently and in a team setting
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high pressure environment
- Able to maintain strong attention to detail coupled with a sense of urgency
- Possess strong writing skills and research ability
- Demonstrated experience providing exceptional client service
