PRODUCT MANAGER – CURRENT ACCOUNTS recruitment

Key responsibilities:
- Leading the relationship with the research team and being the go-to person for research within our commercial team. Managing the research timetable and budget and reporting any variances to the senior commercial manager
- Regular competitor product and pricing reviews, updating the commercial team when change happens
- Co-ordinating and updating the Product Specification document
- Managing the volumetrics input from commercial and feeding back any changes/impacts that will effect the business case
- Customer collateral commercial lead, from brief through to final signed off material, liaising with all relevant parties and managing the development budget, reporting any variances to the senior commercial manager
- Customer communications commercial support
- International payments build and test support
- Support as and when required on design and build phases, including detailed review of design documentation and process mapping
- Support to the team during UAT phase
- Ongoing proposition development support
Essential criteria:
- Experience and understanding of retail banking market - in particular current accounts
- Clear research and product development experience in retail banking
- Commercial / Product management experience in retail banking
- Understanding of new product development and project lifecycle (not essential but beneficial)
- Experience of product and customer marketing / campaign management (multi-channel)
- Analytical and written communication skills are key
- Influencing and negotiation skills
- Flexible and responsive to change
