Our client is a worldwide leader in the manufacture of Industrial Automation solutions, with a 25 year history in Canada producing electrical components. They provide the highest level of customer service in the industry.
Overview
This position is in Product Manager in the Industrial Components side of the business. The key of this position is providing effective product information and support to the Sales and Sales Channels/Partners. This is a field position requiring regular international travel. Overall, this position will lead the development and implementation of the business unit roadmapwith the vision to achieve a leadership position in this industry.
Are You Qualified?
- Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years experience in managing, marketing, or selling electrical/electronic products
- Master of Business Administration is preferred
- Two years of product or engineering management experience
- Ability to lead multi-disciplined teams in a product development project
- Knowledge of project and product management procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills through situational analysis
- Experience in making technical presentations to large audiences
- Experience preparing and working with budgets an asset
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
· 30-50% international travel
· Bilingualism is an asset (French and English)
