Product Manager
Eagle is currently seeking one (1) Product Manager - Vendor Implementation. This contract position is projected to be six (6) months in length and begin March 2012.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Serving as the single point of contact and be accountable for assigned projects;
- Applying disciplined Project Management approach to the assigned mid-to-large size 3rd party vendor implementation projects through the entire project life cycle, from planning to deployment and post-implementation review;
- Acquiring and managing project resources; developing and executing project plan, tracking project progress and making adjustments as required;
- Managing work packages, project schedules, project risks, resources and constraints as well as project budgets in accordance with the Project Management Office (PMO) methodology;
- Setting and garnering approvals for projects budgets; and,
- Administering budget to plan, authorizing expenditures and staying involved in the development and monitoring of vendor contracts.
Skills and Qualifications
The qualified candidate must have:
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in Computer Science or equivalent;
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in leading and managing mid-to-large scale 3rd party vendor implementation projects with substantial change management component;
- Demonstrated experience in managing projects in a multi-departmental matrix reporting environment;
- General Project Management skills (Project Planning, Resource and Financial Forecasting, Monitoring Control, Issue, Risk and Change Management);
- Vendor management relationship skills;
- Strong time management and organizational skills;
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal;
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, SharePoint and MS Office suite; - Ability to present status and results to Director, VP and CIO level;
- Proven stakeholder management skills;
- Project Management Certification (PMI);
- Experience with PCI Compliance related projects; and,
- Experience in media.
