We are currently looking for a Product Manager to support The Cloud's product lifecycle management, identifying and delivering roadmaps and identifying development opportunities in line with customer needs. You will be responsible for defining product features and working with necessary internal and external customers to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. You must be energetic, self-motivated and committed to delivering and maintaining the Cloud's product leadership in the market.
Founded in 2003 and recently acquired by Sky, The Cloud has evolved into the number one provider of free public hotspots in the UK. The Cloud is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sky, offering you the advantage of working for smaller company, with the backing of joining one of the UK's largest and most established entertainment and communication groups.
Key areas of your responsibility will be:
* Supporting the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle both commercially and technically.
* Assisting with defining product vision, working with necessary internal and external customers to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met
* Assisting with definition of the product strategy and roadmap
* Supporting the development of the core positioning and messaging for the product with marketing teams
* Working with other product and technical teams
* Supporting development for the next generation of solution and matching innovation to customer needs
* Being aware of competition and pricing within the market, and rolling this knowledge into product strategy.
* Take responsibility for reporting and analysis of system information with the goal of user profiling and implementing up sell solutions.
Ideally you will have:
* Proven product development / product management experience gained within mobile and web environment either at an ISP, MNO or Media company.
* Previous commercial experience
* Previous exposure to product management
* A combination of knowledge covering several of the following areas an advantage -End user/ subscriber management, Content delivery and web content delivery, Web advertising, Mobile related technologies,WiFi related technology/ network authentication mechanisms
* Product management experience especially defining products from technical and commercial perspective.
* Identifying and applying new technology in real world scenarios.
* Management of project and development teams related to delivery of services.
* Degree educated (or equivalent) within a business, technical or related area.
