SMC384 - Global Product Manager - Clearing Collateral
Overview:
Excellent opportunity for an experienced Product Manager to join a leading International Bank. Based in offices in London, the successful candidate will work within the Product Management division and be responsible for developing/assisting with the evolution of Custody Clearing products.
Key responsibilities include:
Identifying improvements to clearing and collateral product offering and supporting the development of a clear product strategy and roadmap.
Remaining aware of regulations impacting custody and clearing.
Innovation of new products, capitalising on changes to market regulations and market practices.
Liaising with other devisions to identify synergies and develop innovative products and services for clients.
Participating in industry conferences and contributing to industry publication.
Leading and managing the "New Product Approval" process as required and ensuring that products adhere to the appropriate bank governance and that any risks have been properly considered / mitigated.
Detailed product definition and capability profiles.
Liaising with business partners for product delivery, to include Technology, Operations, Legal, Compliance and Risk.
This role would be ideally suited to a Product Manager/Developer with a strong knowledge and understanding of the clearing and settlement process and the ability to analyse business situations and innovate product opportunities.
This role will involve working to set timeframes and some travel.
