Description

Headquartered in Boston, Standish is a leading investment management firm dedicated to serving sophisticated fixed income investors. Our Liability Driven Investing (LDI) team is currently seeking a Product Manager. The Product Manager role supports to overall business of the Product Management department.
- Responsible for supporting all aspects of product development, maintenance and enhancement of assigned product categories including; new product launches, existing product re-positioning, competitive analysis and marketplace positioning, communication of investment strategy and process in all marketing, new business and client presentations and communications.
- Interface with investment teams to enhance the marketing materials related to their product. Work closely with investment team to ensure that product content is accurate, robust and of the highest quality.
- Participate in investment strategy meetings with investment teams.
- Work closely with sales, consultant relations and client service teams to provide information on products and support the sales and client service process.
- Serves as an expert source of product information for Standish staff in their engagements with consultants, prospects, and our sales force through ongoing dialogue with investment management, research and other operational teams.
- Acting as internal representative for investment team, in helping provide clients, prospects and consultants with ongoing updates about the investment process and performance of specific products when appropriate.
- Coordinate written updates of assigned strategies internally. Coordinate development of client quarterly investment commentaries.
- Promote product visibility by maintaining and supporting periodic product fact sheets focusing on consistency and timeliness of messaging.
- Position products across internal distribution channels while seeking opportunities to actively promote products and drive sales.
- Leverage and organize company-wide resources, including marketing, graphics, sales, relationship management, operations and technology.
- Oversee RFP review process and maintenance of firm and product information using PMAPS.
- Participate in client meetings, new business presentations, conferences and client training as needed

Qualifications

Strong communications skills, a BA/BS in finance or business and 5 + years relevant experience required, MBA and/or progress toward CFA designation desirable. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to set goals, work independently and achieve results Knowledge of fixed-income asset management business and investment strategies Broad capital markets knowledge and general understanding of credit markets Ability to develop presentation skill set over time Solid verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills Ability to take ideas from concept and see through to completion utilizing efficient project management
