We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Product Manager (Contractor) in our Glendale, CA offices. Essential Duties Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of a Product Manager on the Advertiser Platform team will be driving a successful implementation of strategic initiatives targeting the advertiser experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology, innovation and overall online experiences. Be an advocate for YP.coms advertiser platform enabling business owners to post and manage their listings online Become part of the Advertiser Platform group to collaborate, develop, and implement product features and updates according to the defined Product Roadmap Work with cross-functional teams of designers, engineers, project managers and stakeholders to effectively deliver product solutions, clearly communicating defined scope and constraints Develop detailed requirements documents as required in support of the product development process for the Advertiser Platform team Use key business and product metrics to drive product development Develop and oversee implementation of communication and training plans for internal customer groups including customer care, operations and sales Manage BAU item queue and prioritization Reports to Executive Director, Product Management Qualifications: 5+ years of overall product management experience, preferably in the online advertising space Excellent leadership skills and ability to manage teams without formal authority Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively manage internal as well as external relationships Experience with agile and as well waterfall development environments Understanding of technical implementation a must, engineering background desired Strong business analytics skills, experience with Google Analytics and other 3rd party campaign management tools a plus Excellent multi tasking skills, attention to details Bachelors Degree required, MBA or graduate degree in related fields preferred We offer competitive rates and a casual yet high-energy work environment.
