Product Manager- Data Services
Specific responsibilities include leading strategy, prioritization, planning and Enterprise-wide management for data services. Requires coordinating overall strategy execution, in conjunction with multiple businesses, technology functions and operations / compliance groups within the firm.
In conjunction with Technology Management, the Product Manager is responsible for product planning and development. The Product Manager is responsible for the following deliverables:
- Produces: Product strategy, roadmaps, annual product plans, business cases, prioritization and monthly product reviews, product presentations, market intelligence, environmental monitoring and business/strategy requirements
- Contributes to the production of: Portfolio business plans, strategies, roadmaps, metrics, and operational plans; portfolio progress plans and reviews; user requirements and functional specifications.
Responsibilities include the planning and management of:
- Business market strategies,
- New product roll outs and new releases of existing data products,
- Overall data distribution policies such as channel/vendor strategy, bundling of data, cross organization opportunities and
- Relationships with third party data vendors
Candidates must have 7+ yrs of Capital Markets product management or similar experience. This is a senior management role for a strong creative and strategic thinker possessing a deep understanding of the Capital Markets marketplace including data suppliers, data users, and current and next generation technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree - MBA preferred
- 7+ years of relevant product management experience
- Relevant referential data and transactional data experience
