Product Manager- Ecommerce
Specific responsibilities include leading strategy, prioritization, planning and Enterprise-wide management for eCommerce. Requires coordinating overall strategy execution, in conjunction with multiple businesses, technology functions and operations / compliance groups within the firm.
The focus of the role is the e-Commerce suite of client facing web, mobile and tablet applications within the firm. Responsible for strategy and planning for such client facing applications across the firm, in partnership with lines of business leads / business managers and technology leads. Includes prioritizing driving the work slate cohesively across Research, Sales, Trading (including Electronic Trading Services), Prime Services and Post Trade Services. Requires close partnership with analytics teams in studying understanding their end user (internal and external) needs for web mobile delivered interactions to deliver a world class eCommerce platform with a strong / clear brand that meets firm standards
Maintain knowledge on all products and services of websites, developing go-forward strategy for existing and developing sites and recommend new products and enhancements if required and coordinate with various cross functional team to analyze requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Prioritize and coordinate new product delivery and recommend improvements to all products and prepare all business requirements documents and ensure compliance to all product schedule and coordinate with departments to provide an effective interface.
- Collaborate with information technology and business units to deliver work schedule for all projects and provide support to analyze feasibility to achieve business goals.
- Assist business leads to review all financials of projects and analyze all key business metrics, initiate market research and usability tests on ecommerce activities and manage all communication plans for projects and provide status reports to management.
- Document all business plans and design strategies and facilitate approval for all senior management; establish and maintain overarching prioritization process to inform delivery roadmap.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree - MBA preferred
- 7years of relevant Capital Markets product management experience
- Experience building internal and external user-facing ecommerce services
- Very familiar with potential technology solutions and service providers
- Experience launching new concepts or startups a plus
- Experience with mobile platforms preferred
- Experience working in a large enterprise with a worldwide customer base
- Ability to work well and lead cross-functional teams
- Experience identifying, contracting with, and directly managing third party vendors
