Product Manager – Fixed Income Indices
The individual needs to be, in order of importance
- Technically skilled
- Comfortable to lead a medium sized team and interact with clients
- Energetic and genuinely interested in growing the business
- Industrious
Education and experience
- Quantitative studies, such as math, engineering, finance or a science. No advanced degree required.
- Proven track record in designing and developing indices or structured products for cash bonds and/or other asset classes traded over the counter.
Commercial awareness
- High degree of commercial awareness. Needs to be motivated by commercial impact.
- We need someone who is detail oriented enough to build high quality, superior products, but commercial enough not to be lost in the detail or unable to go on with the next task.
Management requirements
- Demonstrable management experience is required. Only exceptional talent will be considered for this role if the individual does not have experience in managing at least one person. The individual is expected to be a strong team player, with proven track-record of working with people, including people that are not functionally tied to him/her.
