Product Manager for Web Based Content Management Systems. recruitment
City based Investment Bank seek a Product Manager for Web Based Content Management Systems. The products (currently numbering 18 in total) provide clients from within the Bank with Hosting, Access and Content Management infrastructure services. This position requires a highly driven individual who can contribute to Product Management strategy, identifying opportunities for process improvement (including on boarding for the banks products, the roadmap process, the service review and the service catalogue), and championing the product within the bank. The types of skills required in the role are strong project management creative flair, client handling (at all levels of seniority) and a demonstrated ability to influence and lead others. Individuals who possess an understanding of the technologies IT have created managed services around (web, application, database and server hosting) and those who have dealt with commercializing these technologies for client consumption (e.g. performing market analysis, defining the value proposition, producing client facing materials, creating roadmaps and reporting) are at an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Improvements
- Onboarding/Offboarding/Recertification harmonization across all Products
- Extension of the Roadmap process to IT
- Extension of the service review toolkit to provide the “single source of truth” for their products
- Redefining the client experience of the service catalogue web site to incorporate single touch point for clients to view and manage their instances. Also manage the incorporation of a shopping cart to streamline the on boarding experience.
• Framework Evolution
- Building up a library of best practice examples for each component of the framework
- Formalizing and standardizing the framework components (creating structure around how we manage these, the frequency, the deliverables etc).
- Manage the creation of further tools to support the framework
- Adding new components to the framework where value outweighs effort
- Fostering collaboration across the team through running a bi-weekly product management team call

- Producing compelling, client-facing materials
- Meeting with clients to ascertain the client experience of the portal
- Employ innovative means to demonstrate teams achievements
- Evolve the reporting framework
- Act as a strong and competent advocate for the products
