Product Manager, Fund Administration recruitment

Hamilton Lane Fund Administration provides a customizable outsourced investment operations/back office suite of solutions supporting the Private Equity and Real Estate limited partner community.  This position involves increasing Hamilton Lane’s presence, market share and client base in this space.

Primary Responsibilities:

•  Develop a successful strategic plan that will position Hamilton Lane as a market leader in the Fund Administration space.

•  Coordinate with our Business Development Team to effectively position Hamilton Lane in front of prospective clients.

•  Help create an innovative marketing campaign that will expand Hamilton Lane’s market exposure.

•  Develop a plan that will provide opportunities to increase revenue.

•  Lead the charge of developing a creative plan to showcase the qualities that differentiate Hamilton Lane from our competitors.  

•  Act as a critical communicator to current and prospective clients. Must be knowledgeable of the private equity market and all facets of fund reporting.

•  Conduct and coordinate client and prospective client presentations.

•  Work closely with Hamilton Lane’s Monitoring and Reporting and Information Technology Team on current and future enhancements to our web-based reporting system. 

Other Functions:

•  The Product Manager must always strive to improve the messaging of our capabilities and functionalities in the Fund Administration space, while working closely alongside various departments in the firm.

•  Special projects and assignments are to be expected.

Necessary Qualifications:

•  Minimum 8-10 years of software and/or information marketing experience, along with significant client interaction experience.

•  Strong presentation skills.

•  A BA/BS required. MBA a plus.

•  50+ hour week; some travel (25% of time); must be flexible.
