Job Description:
This position is responsible for leading the development of the new IGene business line while managing the PL. You will be responsible for specifications gathering, Quality Control and partnering with Supply Chain management. You will also play a key role in introducing new and innovative products and planning their production on a global or regional basis. This is a highly regulated environment where FDA experience is essential. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities by identifying emerging client needs for new technologies, content and skills.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a start up environment and have a flair for growing business from the ground up. You must be experienced in the Manufacturing and Marketing of Medical Sequencing Technologies.
Primary Responsibilities:
•Form a new business dedicated to working with companies to improve the quality, clinical validation and value of IGeneApps
•Lead and work with key stakeholders to organize cross-functional activities related to training, documentation, tools, sales, marketing, service, logistics and manufacturing
•Daily interaction with customers to identify new business opportunities and emerging client needs
•Create pricing structures and price positions for products within area of responsibility, including ROI impact
•Detail the requirements for the development of new products or enhancing existing products or product lines
•Evaluate and monitor products and / or solutions throughout all stages of the Quality Cycle (proposal, definition, build, validation, production, end of enhancements, end of availability, end of support)
•Linkage to the external Guidelines Panel to direct updates and advice on our new IGS strategy
Requirements:
•BS/BA in Life Sciences, Management, Technical degree or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
•The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience working and managing in a manufacturing and marketing position. Experience with Medical Sequencing Technologies is strongly preferred as is experience growing a new business. Demonstrated entrepreneurial work history
•Demonstrated knowledge of the Manufacturing, QC and FDA regulatory processes
•Demonstrated ability to develop team members through mentoring and coaching in a technical environment
•Ability to act as a trusted advisor to top management and business partners on advanced technical matters
