Job Responsibilities
Responsible for the execution and delivery of requirements for Netik’s products supporting the Investment Management, Prime Brokerage and Hedge Fund industries. Reports to the Head of Product Management and Head of India. The Product Manager will be responsible for the product roadmap, product specifications, delivery strategy, and quality of the product documentation and delivery to support licensed clients and SaaS, RaaS and Enterprise service model, Client Conferences and Advisory Council sessions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Product Roadmap– define the strategic direction of the products. Work directly with the senior executives on client, Advisory Council and Board level product communication and reviews.
Industry Landscape - Monitor industry trends, pricing and competitive landscape. Compile competitor information relative to product offerings, product pricing, product features, delivery channels, marketing strategies/initiatives, etc.
Product Delivery- work with Professional Services to coordinate product delivery and upgrades. Work with sales and marketing to drive new opportunities, Proof of Concepts, and demonstration environments for multiple lines of businesses.
Product Releases - coordinate all development activities for new product releases including software development, upgrades, documentation and support.
Business Development – Establish and maintain key relationships as it relates to technology and added value feature/function.
Desired Skills
15+ years’ experience with a combination of front, middle and/or back office processing. Deep understanding of internal MIS, operational and client reporting within the investment management, hedge fund, insurance (asset side) and prime brokerage businesses, including regulatory reporting. Must have been involved in key business initiatives for the development of buy-side/sell-side technology to support the various business functions within financial services. Good technology background and competence a plus.
Candidate must have knowledge of the end-to-end transaction and development life cycles and be able to manage globally distributed teams of people.
