Requirement:
The Product Manager will be responsible for the PL and strategic growth of TE Medical's portfolio of custom-engineered cable assembly, interconnect and component solutions for medical device OEMs in Asia. Keys to success for this position include prioritizing and managing the opportunity funnel consistent with portfolio strategies; identifying targeted opportunities with strategic OEMs for Sales to pursue, combined with exceptional customer service to enable flawless execution via SOP and collaborative forecasting.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the revenue growth and profitability of a broad custom cable assembly and interconnect solutions portfolio for medical device OEMs in the Asia regional markets.
- Execute growth strategy to reach goals, involving expanded key customer relationships.
- Prioritize and manage the opportunity funnel consistent with portfolio strategies, regional and local market and customer trends, and technology roadmaps.
- Manage and direct early definition of product and business requirements to enable project execution via Stage and Gate processes with exceptional quality and customer service.
- Manage monthly SOP cycle requirements.
- Manage customer relationships.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies.
- Manage and direct collaborative forecasting.
- Provide input into major customer contracts.
- Monitor and report on Asia-based customer and competitor activities.
- Coordinate with Marketing to develop and implement regular product training for Sales.
- Coordinate with Marketing to develop and implement marketing and communications materials.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Business Development to develop and implement Voice-of-the-Customer activities to understand customers' technology needs, strategic direction and how TE can tailor technologies and engineered solutions to meet those needs.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have engineering and business experience within the medical device industry, specifically focused on custom cable and interconnect solutions.
- Minimum 3-5 years of product management experience with PL ownership.
- High level qualification (graduate or equivalent) in engineering and/or business discipline.
- Experience working with high-volume-production engineered product solutions.
- Demonstrated engineered product portfolio management skills with effective resource utilization.
- Experience in understanding and interpreting complex/important business tactics, strategies and customer requirements; background in customer relations.
- Detail-oriented quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally while effectively organizing, prioritizing and accomplishing multiple conflicting tasks; make decisions and solve problems independently.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, written, verbal communication skills.
- Fluent in English language speaking, reading and business writing.
- Conversational in multiple Asian languages – Korean, Japanese, Chinese – desirable.
- Ability and willingness to travel as required throughout Asia.
