The service manager is required to support delivery of the TWC Apollo Operate SOW which is already contracted. The Service manager will need to be on the customers site for a period of one year and support the XXX products delivered as part of the overall CTS Cluster agreemnt (Build, Deploy, Operate). The Service Manager plays a critical role in that as well as providing daily status of the cluster, they will provide forward looking guidance. In addition, they will work with the onsite Resident Engineer and Network Engineer. Training on the TAS Cluster solution will be required prior to the Service Manager engaging with the customer. The Service Manager is an individual contributor position and will be the primary liaison between the customer and the XXX operations group; support the customer and provide subject matter expertise on the daily operation of the CTS cluster in the customer’s network; and be involved in planning near future minor and major upgrades. The Service Manager will also lead the work efforts of two XXX resources. Work with customer and share CTS cluster (CTS/PCM/MRF/OMC-P) information- Develop an execution plan and manage execution, supporting the customer’s objectives.- Evaluate current services and provide strategy, direction, and planning for the platform.- Lead the work with other services teams, particularly the resident engineer and network engineer- Work as trusted advisor with customer, and provide subject matter expertise- Work with product teams- Drive the technical aspects of the project- Be on customer locations as required- Successfully complete any customer mandated training Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred.- Minimum of 5 years Telcom experience- Knowledge of the following domains: Subscriber Activation, Fault Management, Performance Management, and Billing/Usage- Familiarity with IMS (concepts, standards, etc.)- Previous experience managing and driving work efforts of other resources- Good communication skills, verbal and written- Good persuasion and negotiation skills- Good interpersonal skills- Provide workshops to the customer as needed- Able to troubleshoot issues/problems- Ability to perform and document gap analysis- Resource must be US citizen, residing in North America in order to be able to travel as required- Ability to get added to NSA Class B product IPLs- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, Internet Explorer, Adobe Acrobat Reader, VisioDesired Qualifications:- General Telecommunications knowledge- Knowledge of OSS/BSS products- Knowledge of some of the following products: 1310 OMC-P, 5620 5420 CTS, 5420 PCM, 5900 MRF- Experience developing integration Interface Specifications- Experience with Experium (DocuShare) and SharePoint- Understanding of 3GPP2 and/or 3GPP wireless technologies standards as they relate to OSS/BSS/Application integration- Experience documenting OSS/BSS/Application Architectures- Familiarity of Alcatel-Lucent IMS and LTE solutions (generic, standards)- PMI certified
