Our Client Company is a global leader in the manufacture and distribution of commercial explosives and Initiation Systems. Based in Brisbane and reporting to the VP of Marketing and working along side the Global Product Management Team this role is one of a kind.
Your Technical expertise will be based on no less than 10 years experience in the use of explosives and IS. Extensive knowledge of initiation product usage, quality, RD and manufacturing operations will also be paramount.
The role will see you undertaking analysis of the market and customer needs, as well as performing dissection and analysis of failed IS products, hence your ability to question and research will be well utilised.
Your interaction with the customer will be based on technical knowledge and delivery of excellence in service and product. You will provide technical support, quality support and training as well as lead and manage all IS products supplied to customers. You will handle and resolve customer complaints as well as manage the VP and Pricing policies.
To be successful in the role our client will be looking for your effective interpersonal skills, your ability to investigate and develop appropriate reports. Attention to detail and MS Suite experience will compliment your technical ability. Within this diverse role it will be your ability to work unsupervised, meet deadlines and contribute to the team for product process development and commercialisation.
The ability to travel on a regular basis is required as is a valid driving licence. An attractive salary package with incentives is on offer.
