Product Manager opening for Fashion Accessories Company in NYC Job in New York, New York Us
In this role you will be responsible for managing the development milestones for assigned brands from prototype phase through sales sample delivery.
Essential Functions:
Monitor/Track all design and prototype development from design hand off to color kits
- CAD/Technical Issues
- Ray Material Issues
- Master Proto/Technical Marking Approval
- Color Kit Approval
- Style # / Name Assignment
- Tooling Process
Collaborate with Design Development Director on commercialization of technical drawings from prototypes to color kits.
Create and maintain Style Spec Sheets and communicate with all manufacturers.
Maintain and monitor design development calendar
Review technical information from Quality Control, submit to manufacturers and discuss any technical issues
Review CAD drawings; Approve or reject as appropriate; Work with manufacturers and Quality Control to resolve any issues identified
Request and maintain all technical/dimensional information for each style relating to construction and composition
Review tooled samples with Quality Control and Design Development Director
Maintain photo records of all prototypes
Maintain sizing and material records for each style for catalog and Quality Control testing in Italy
Work with Design Director on color choices, color code and name maintenance
Maintain wholesale pricing data
Collaborate with production regarding materials, components and scheduling capacities
Collaborate with Supply Chain department for vendor assignment, pricing analysis, materials, components and scheduling capacities.
Research, source and recommend new materials and techniques.
Maintain open communication with Brand and Design teams
Maintain daily communication with all vendors pertaining to progress of designs and prototypes.
Communicate with assigned brand pertaining to contractual product review/approvals.
Perform all other duties as assigned
