We are currently looking for an experienced Product Manager, to join our Insurance and Telesales division.
In this role you will be responsible for the development and management of franchise-wide retail strategy to optimise portfolio and revenue growth of insurance products. This will involve the management of our Insurance Products from monitoring product features, profitability and attrition and recommending changes to the products to reach financials goals and working with insurers to develop those features.
Some of your key accountabilities will include: Project managing the launch of new products which may include:
- Reviewing product specifications for new insurance products and liaising with insurers to seek changes
- Analysing premiums for new insurance products and conducting competitor premium analysis
- Creating / amending customer service letters for new insurance products and seeking internal approvals for these
- Drafting business cases/product programs for the launch of new products to satisfy regional compliance guidelines
- Reviewing PDS’s and policy documents for new insurance products and liaising with insurers to seek changes
- Liaising with internal stakeholders in Operations to set up new processes required for the new products e.g. claims processes
- Reviewing test cases for new insurance products.
Assisting with BAU activities in the Product Strategy area, which may include:
- Overseeing complaints resolution and Insurance related customer service enquiries, when product related, through the Citi Customer Advocacy Unit Citiphone, liaising with our suppliers, in a timely and effective manner.
- Executing product related test cases for new IT platforms.
Working on ad hoc projects as required by the Head of Strategy Product to drive product profitability:
- Analysing the drivers of attrition and working with the retention unit to develop a retention strategy.
- Assisting to develop new management reports.
- Setting up new credit card partners with credit card insurance.
- Seeking amendments to contract terms to achieve enhanced product profitability.
Some of the key requirements for this role are as follows:
- Well developed organisational and project management skills and a proven record of delivering under strict timelines and juggling multiple tasks
- Prior experience with contract negotiations, preferred
- Prior experience in Direct Insurance / General Insurance / Advisor Insurance / Financial Services / Financial Planning required
- Degree qualified in a related discipline
- Excellent product management skills e.g. developing new insurance products, managing product PL’s
- Ability to analyse data to drive conclusions/recommendations
- Intermediate skills in Excel, Word and Power Point
