Product Manager recruitment
The Product team is seeking a responsible, highly motivated, Product Manager that has a proven track record for successful product implementations. The Product Manager is responsible for product planning and managing execution of the product lifecycle. The candidate will work closely with other team members to gather and prioritize market and client requirements, create detailed Functional Specifications, collaborate with development resources, provide quality assurance and guide clients through User Acceptance Testing and roll-out. The selected candidate will ensure that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals while achieving client satisfaction.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the definition and prioritization of product strategy, development, and implementation roadmap.
- Perform all tasks required to deliver exceptional market and client requirements
- Manage client expectations throughout the product implementation lifecycle
- Provide support for production related inquiries.
Candidate Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience working in product management or project management for either a financial services or software company.
- Strong leadership skills, ability to manage projects and offer guidance and direction to junior product analysts.
- Self-motivated, takes initiative and enjoys the challenge of problem solving.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task is a must.
- Ability to speak to or give presentations in small or large group settings for the purposes of client trainings and delivering product demonstrations.
- The ability to work independently while still interacting within an integrated team structure.
- Must have the ability to understand the business and technical needs of the client as well as troubleshoot client issues in a stand-alone and group environment.
- Ability to develop and foster strong relationships with customers and demonstrate outstanding client service.
- Review and test software applications to ensure they will meet the needs of their clients.
- Ability to collaborate and work well with multiple organizational and functional departments
Additional Requirements:
- BA or in a related field is required
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Microsoft Project. Skills with Microsoft Access is a plus.
- Background in equity sales, research, trading, investment banking or financial data companies a plus.
