Product Manager recruitment
With a truly global reach but a strong ability to understand domestic markets, our client is keen to take advantage of the upturn in Global Financial Markets and appoint a new Product Manager across their Funds and Technology space on a permanent basis that has 100% focus on their institutional client reporting market.
Your energies will be focused on following:
- In this role you will manage all of the global client-facing web and data delivery services for the Funds Products including long-only Funds, Hedge Fund Administration, Hedge Fund Middle Office, Private Equity and Transfer Agency.
- With your Product partners in Funds, you will establish the product direction and manage the full Product Management life cycle of the following existing and emerging client-facing web and data delivery services: Funds Services Reporting (FSR), TA Reporting, HFA's Middle Office dashboard, and Trade-Flow. As new needs emerge you will work with the Product partners to define the product roadmap and evaluate build vs. buy alternatives, and you will work with the In House Technology team and vendors to deliver the new service.
- You will also be responsible for managing the priorities and Book of Work for Funds with the Product Partner relating to enhancements to the existing services in the three major releases as well as the Client Response Unit, which provides rapid response to client reporting requests.
- You will be the subject matter expert with respect to the web services as well as with the underlying data and you will assist in solution requests from key clients.
- As Technology Product Manager for Funds you will manage 1-2 staff professionals and you will be responsible for driving the product direction and development/enhancement of these services end-to-end, from product architecture and strategy, to requirements, building the global implementation and support model, and the client experience.
- This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and experienced individual to play a leading role in SFS Information Services managing key services and defining and developing a new set of transformational products and services for SFS.
The successful candidate will have gained 10 years experience covering Fund Accounting, Technology Reporting Delivery and or Product Management from a Funds and or operations or Technology perspective.
This is role is not a Technology based position as it is more based on the strategic element and placement of the Technical Products from a client and operational perspective.
