Product Manager, Retirement Income Job in Denver (Dtc) 80111, Colorado Us
The Product Manager, Retirement Income, will be responsible for all guaranteed living withdrawal benefit (GLWB) product related activities within Retirement Services and Individual Markets. Requires a fundamental knowledge of product, risks, hedge strategies, operational characteristics for a GLWB product. Also requires the ability to make strategic decisions around product design and sales opportunities.
Responsibilities:
• Product Design Development among various channels: Includes
1. assessing risks of new funds or product structures,
2. working to get new product designs priced and assessed,
3. taking new product designs to Sr. Management for approval.
4. determining the strategic direction of the products,
5. Answering questions from internal and client facing employees about the product, working with brokers and consultants or bank partners to explain or train on product,
• Sales and Training: Some training of internal operational, sales, and service teams as well as selling to external advisors, consultants, other 3rd party distributors.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- 5+ years of experience in Investment or Financial Services product related fields.
- Requires knowledge of current Retirement Income products, including GLWB products.
- Working knowledge of defined contribution products preferred.
- Product management experience a plus.
