Fitch Solutions' Global Product is responsible for directing the commercial activities surrounding referential fixed income research and information;  pricing and risk measurement data, modeled and analytic tools and analytical tools used by financial professionals worldwide in their risk management and investment decision making processes.

 

Essential Functions:

The Product Owner is globally responsible for their designated product – content sets, platform and/or tool.

 

Products include:

·         Platforms:  Fitch Research; Risk Connect, the Integrated data feed as well as WebServices and RXML feeds, low latency research feeds and industry-leading data delivery solutions

·         Content Sets: Ratings, Research fundamental financial data sets, market based credit indicators and model derived credit indicators, as well as 

·         Tools relative performance analytical applications, and risk measurement analytics.

 

Product Owner ( Director / Associate Director)

 

Fitch Solutions is seeking a Product Owner to execute the commercial and product development strategy globally for a designated product ( data or referential research information content set, distribution platform or tool).

 

The Product Owner is the product champion – they own the product through the products life cycle from ideation, market validation, product creation and development, marketing and sales training through to maturity and enhancement. They are the advocate for end users and customers - the voice of the customer and the voice of the market – and brings an understanding of the market and our client's workflow to the product development process They work with IT to develop the product concept and with Marketing and Sales to commercialize and bring the product to market.

 

 

Responsibilities Include:

 

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

       ·         7+ years of experience and comfort with financial market data and/or  

              credit analytics and their use in the investment research and analysis

              process

·         Experience and comfort with financial market data and referential research  with direct experience delivering financial content products to end users and a deep understanding of global and regional regulatory standards and financial practices, credit investor informational needs, and ma
rket data best practices.

·         Experience and comfort with credit analytics consists of familiarity with best practices of corporate default and ratings replication methodologies and the application of these models for risk or investment management purposes.

·          5+ years of experience in product development and/or commercial management - preferably with information products or tools, referential research, online and web based platforms

·         Have a strong subject matter expertise in the designated content set (eg: fundamental financial data or market based derived indicators) or platforms (web based and mobile applications as well as web services  or APIs) and/or what if stress/scenario tools/models)

·         Have working experience of completing large technology / product projects on time and on budget and within client expectations
