The Role:
• Take a senior position on the Structuring team with full responsibility of delivering financial products, services and solutions to European and American clients via a portfolio of financing structures, loans, trade finance, working capital, import and export finance and structured notes
• Team has responsibility for the development and maintenance of products, coordinating with fiscal, regulatory, legal, credit, market risks associated with the products. These will include Term loans (plain vanilla and structured loans), Revolving and Credit Facilities, Uncommitted Facilities, Commercial Paper, Import and Export Finance, Trade finance (Forfeiting, Confirming, Reverse Factoring).
• Role will predominantly focus on UK and European business and main day to day responsibility will be driving business and giving product structuring solutions to clients in Europe. However role also offers exposure to North America and Latin America business.
• Successful candidate will be involved in the development of new structures (products and specific deals)

The Candidate:
• Successful candidate must have experience in developing and producing financial solutions for clients across Working capital, Trade finance, Import and Export Finance, Term Loans, Invoice Discounting, Guarantees, structured notes, and Forfeiting.
• Ideal candidate will have a Working Capital or Trade Finance or Structured Finance background or experience as a Product Manager/ Structurer at a competitive bank
• Very good knowledge of the Credit Regulatory environment and markets in UK and Europe is mandatory for this role. After this any experience of Latam or North America is helpful.
• Fluency in English and ideally one other European language is preferred. French or German is desirable or Spanish.
• Successful candidate will have a strong track record in creating and delivering these types of financial products and services with European clients
• Role will involve working with sales teams, particularly corporate sales and clients. You will also work with the risk and legal teams within the bank and other colleagues in Trade finance/ markets and banking.
• This is a very hands on role, you will be part of a small busy team so must demonstrate a strong work ethic and ability to function well in a growing bank.
