Overview:-
Excellent opportunity for an experienced transactional banking Product Manager to join a leading International Bank based in their international HQ in London.
The Bank is currently in a significant investment phase of its transactional banking business and is there looking for an outstanding individual who can work to identify strategic opportunities for the Corporate Trust business to expand both through the evaluation of new products and entrance into new markets. The individual will also be required to work closely with other business units in the transaction bank to develop complimentary products across the whole bank strategy.
Candidates should have proven expertise in product development and have a solid knowledge of transaction banking products (in particular Escrow products and services) and demonstrable hands-on experience of the full life cycle of product planning and strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify potential new product opportunities within Corporate Trust business.
• Work with bank wide product development to ensure consistent strategy for Corporate Trust.
• Engage Technology, Operations, etc to facilitate oversight of the annual technology budget for Trust and Agency business.
• Create product plan and strategy to encompass new idea generation through to product delivery.
- Responsible for completion of New Product Approval controls.
- Provide industry and competitor analysis to senior management.
- Report on revenue, expense, and profit drivers for new products and develop business case.
- Negotiate new contracts with suppliers and vendors, company internal groups.
- Attend industry conferences and represent the bank on external panels.
- Excellent understanding of legal and regulatory changes and product impact and opportunity for Corporate Trust.
You will have:
• Strong experience in Transaction Banking and in particular Escrow products and services
• A track record in Product Management and end-to-end process driven management
• Strong analytical skills and project management skills
• A performance and result oriented workstyle and strong business acumen
• The ability to analyse business situations and identify product opportunities
- Experience of interacting widely through a banking organisation
