Product-/Market Data Analyst
As a member of a small, professional team you will be responsible for the set up and on-going maintenance of all products in the firms internal system as well as identification and delivery of process improvements. Through a thorough understanding of each product characteristics and a strong appreciation of how data is used throughout the organization you will ensure that all requirements for security information are known, standardised and handled centrally. You will take the lead in working with all stakeholders – such as traders, risk managers, head of operations, CFO – to ensure that any new asset class/product type will flow through and between the systems as required and all users receive the information with the appropriate granularity. For any project or change initiative you will act as single point of contact providing guidance and validation that systems are impacted in the way expected. Furthermore you will be the product expert with responsibility for the data quality (plausibility, multiples etc.), which is the basis for their regular state-of-the-art reportings.
The successful candidate is an energetic person with a solid education and some 2 to 4 years of experience within a financial organization working with market data sources and applications from a variety of data providers. Core requirements include a good understanding of numerous securities, various asset classes, attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to ask the right questions. As an open minded, articulate and supportive teamplayer with strong self-motivation you will be able to convince professionals at all levels. Proficient use of MS Office, Bloomberg and Reuters is essential, a solid business German would be helpful. High quality standards, inquisitiveness as well as a positive and hands-on attitude to challenges in a fast moving environment are also required.
