About the Position Aberdeen Group, a Harte-Hanks company, is seeking a Product Marketing Manager (PMM) for a newly created role within the organization focused on bringing new products to market. Reporting to the Director of Strategy and Product Management, this highly visible role will be responsible for developing, planning and executing specific marketing plans by working collaboratively with other Harte-Hanks business units to develop and steer market-driven product development efforts. Working closely with the product management, sales and marketing programs teams, the PMM will develop product positioning and messaging, conduct market research, monitor competitive activity and pricing, and be responsible for product launches and sales enablement. Specific responsibilities include: ? Maintain deep knowledge of the market to understand buyer personas and processes, competitive landscape, pricing, and contribute to business planning ? Drive the launch of new solutions to market ensuring sales and marketing is trained, supported, and successful at connecting and communication with customers ? Establish concise product positioning and messaging for solutions and ensure consistent communication across all marketing channels ? Create sales tools and materials including sales presentations, collateral, case studies, white papers, ROI models and product slicks for the sales organization ? Work cross-functionally to collaborate on the creation and execution of marketing plans, campaigns, and launch activities for assigned products Desired Skills Experience Our ideal candidate will possess experience as a key resource in the creation of innovative marketing tools and materials that demonstrate value and differentiation while driving customer interest and sales. Specific qualifications: ? Strong domain expertise in one or more of the following areas: demand marketing, marketing data quality, data integration ? 5+ years experience in marketing roles including 2+ years in product marketing or product management ? Proven experience analyzing products, competition, pricing, and industry trends combined with development and delivering of competitive messaging and positioning ? Demonstrated experience in creating a range of marketing documentation including white papers, solutions briefs, web-site content, presentations, co-marketing promotional literature, sales tools, and training materials ? Experience with sales force education and enablement through training sessions, creation of sales materials, and one-on-one training with sales representatives in live accounts ? Strong project management skills coupled with a high attention to detail and superior multi-tasking abilities ? Able to work collaboratively and through others without a direct reporting relationship ? Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong business judgment, and high level of initiative, creativity and flexibility ? Demonstrated ability to operate in a small division of an established company, a fast paced environment while balancing both strategic and tactical responsibilities ? Pragmatic Marketing certified a plus ?
