Responsibilities
Primary focus of the Product Marketing Manager [equity / fixed income] will be to partner with product managers to develop, produce and maintain high-impact, cost effective marketing communications and programs that support the needs of the product line. The individual(s) will collaboratively lead the development and implementation of product marketing plans.
Principal responsibilities may include:
* Understand, champion and partner closely with product managers and investment teams to play a vital role in the ongoing development of product marketing strategy.
* Supervise activities to ensure consistency with product positioning and strategy / message.
* Act as both product and brand advocate by having strong product understanding and familiarity with look, feel, voice and overall brand presence of Columbia Management.
* Drive strategy, messaging and planning supporting product line-up and multiple distribution channels.
* Plan and manage implementation of communications to support sales of products, including the development of new product launch campaign strategies and materials.
* Serve as liaison with internal marketing communications, creative and editorial teams and other internal/external partners to direct and implement strategic initiatives.
* Track expenditures and monitor invoices relating to individual projects.
* Involved in defining/refining strategies for evolving the asset management business.
* Ensure compliance with appropriate SEC/FINRA and corporate guidelines and regulations and brand standards in all communications.

Required Qualifications
* Have strong financial services industry and product knowledge and perspective.
* Is future oriented.

Preferred Qualifications
* Position requires 7+ years experience, preferably in the financial services industry, and a Bachelor-s degree with a concentration in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
* Series 6 or 7.
