Role :

The Product Marketing Specialist will work with our Practice Management team to assist with the execution of content, programs and initiatives to TD Ameritrade Institutional' s internal external audiences through a variety of media. In addition, this role will coordinate resources across the Firm to increase the effectiveness and usage of practice management tools. The position will report to the Product Managers of Practice Management, and is based out of the Jersey City, NJ office location.

Responsibilities :

  • Support Practice Management Product Managers by helping execute strategic initiatives within defined timeframes
  • Develop, write, and edit create collateral materials to enhance Practice management offering both in print and online
  • Coordinate event strategy efforts to increase scalability and reach of practice offering to RIA audience through webinars and conferences
  • Administer Affinity Service Program by managing the due diligence process, updating vendor information, contact lists, and web and print collateral.
  • Manage internal and industry surveys
  • Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Technology, Marketing, Engineering, Journalism, and/or related field
  • 4-6 years' experience in financial services, specifically Wirehouse, Independent Broker/Dealer and RIA channels
  • Solid foundation in fee-based advisory model
  • Understanding of issues impacting small business owners
  • Superior technical writing copy editing skills
  • Product lifecycle management from ideation to market release
  • Project management experience, including Business Requirement Document (BRD) creation
  • Knowledge of RIA practice management disciplines including Marketing, Business Development, Operations, Succession Planning, Risk Management, and Human Capital
  • Experience interacting working with financial advisors advisor firms
  • Ability to develop strategic relationships with internal and external counterparts
  • Excellent presentation communication skills
  • Website design experience
  • Advanced designations (CFP, MBA, CIMA, AIF, or CFA) preferred
  • FINRA Series 7 and/or Series 66 licenses, or willingness to obtain within 120 days
  • 10% travel
