1. Use hand-held scanner to scan and sort product by part number and create and print delivery note. Verifies correctly parts (product matches matches DN), part numbers, and quantities.
2. Following customer specific instructions from Pack (PK) manual and/or delivery note to pack material into appropriate shipping containers.
3. Pack associates must know and understand the PK codes and what they mean - first 2 digits describe how to pack it and second 2 digits indicate what to pack in to. They must know customers that carry special instructions that do not follow PK codes and resources to reference (classic Timken and Torrington Product)
4. Access online packer manual to determine if re-pack or placement into intermediate containers is required.
5. Upon completion of packaging, reverify part number and quantity to delivery note.
6. Apply address labels AIAG labels or any others as required by the customer.
7. For each pallet, complete a pallet card listing the delivery notes and the number of boxes on that pallet.
8. Use RedPrairie Warehouse Management System to determine product for customer and packing instructions.
9. Accuracy is critical in this position.
Minimum Requirements: HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA or Equivalent.
