Responsibilities
 
Directly responsible for achievement of the SimSci Solutions sales volume and support activities for the development and implementation of SimSci Simulation Modeling Solutions offerings within a region.  These include: Process Simulation, Process Studies Upstream Simulation solutions. Uses in-depth product and industry knowledge to provide specialized expertise to sales colleagues and clients through sales presentations and product demonstrationsAssists sales colleagues in assessing the potential application of company products to meet client needs, and may prepare detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of products, applications or solutions.  Interprets client's requirements and translates them to a potential solution.  In collaboration with Client Sales Executives, assumes responsibility for defining scope and strategy of product-specific sales pursuits.  May provide consultation and/or product capability assessment and validation to prospective users.
 
Maintains knowledge of assigned products, industries and accounts.  Knows and is known by key clients and often participates in key internal and external forums/societies.  Assists with the orientation and training of sales personnel in the unique problems and techniques of the product segment or industry.  Promotes company ability, reputation, products, systems, new techniques and other specialized technical knowledge throughout the particular industry.  Also keeps abreast of assigned application solutions implemented by engineering for use in promotional materials, client presentations and competitive analysis.
 
Job Essential Functions
 
Product Sales Executives are responsible for participating in the entire sales process from identifying prospects to negotiating contracts for a specific product line.
 
Other job essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

·         Responsible for selling complex technical products and services Specializes in a single product or product line.

 
Education:
 
Undergraduate degree, preferably in Business, Engineering, or Computer Science.  An MBA or advanced degree in Engineering or Computer Science is a plus.
 
 
Experience:
·         3 - 5 years of product and solution sales experience in a targeted industry.
·         Past experience in closing deals up to $1 Million USD in contract value
·         Domain Expertise in SimSci solutions; Process Simulation, Process Studies Upstream Simulation solutions - (Mandatory)
·         Ability to establish client relationships
·         Track record of meeting/exceeding annual quota
·         Experience selling with internal teams and 3rd party channel partners
·         Capability to understand IOM offerings and articulate those offerings to the industry and prospects
·         In-depth experience including RFI/RFP proposal strategy, management and response
·         Strong contract negotiations and closing skills
·         Superior presentation development and delivery skills
·         Travel up to 50%
