Job Description Eaton Corporation has an opening for a Product Sales Manager in the Hydraulics Group in the Industrial Hose organization. Location is flexible, but no relocation is offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside in the northern east states will be considered. Location is flexible and candidates will work out of a home office with extensive multi-state travel estimated at 50-75%. As a Product Sales Manager Role, responsibilities include territorial planning, territorial management, and support of Divisional sales efforts with responsibility to increase sales of Eaton Industrial Hose Solutions Products including both commercial and military products. Sales focus will be targeted accounts which include distributors, OEM?s and engineering companies. In conjunction with the local ASM?s, the key focus is profitable sales growth from both existing and / or new distribution, OEM?s and the military customers. The role includes making direct sales calls on targeted OEM?s and smaller distributors. Complimenting the sales efforts, the role includes a responsbility to get Eaton products specified by military installations. Key measurement will be profitable sales growth of EIHS and Marine/Military Products. The key responsibilities of this position includes: - Manages product level sales growth programs supporting the Regional and Program Distribution with focus on industrial and military products. In conjunction with the ASM, deliver sales growth from targeted accounts. - Recommends to Marketing, Engineering and Product Management, new products, industry specific modifications, technical specifications and special testing capabilities to meet globally recognized standards. Continually updates management as to the product scope of the competition. - Develops, analyzes and implements sales plans for core product lines, including evaluation of domestic and global competitors and counter offensive sales tactics. - Manages sales launch element of new product and new program launch to distributors and direct OEMs. - Recommends creation of dedicated sales tools, industry specific literature and promotional brochures to improve product sales growth. - Creates and presents In-field sales training programs dedicated to specific product lines and/or industries to both the internal sales force and the distributor sales teams. - Key product level presentations to support major customer programs. - Analyzes and reports product level sales growth performance including coordination of product level sales forecasts. - Continually gains product knowledge, competitor product, customer and price information required to drive sales growth. - Makes necessary sales calls in conjunction with the local sales force and individual calls when and where necessary to promote EIHS and Marine/Military Products - Continually and successfully grows the EIHS/Military business through current new distribution and OEM?s both direct and indirect. Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution required. ? Minimum 5 years of industrial or military sales experience with fluid conveyance products. ? Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship ? No relocation is offered for this position.
