Overview
In this role, you’ll be called upon to formulate and recommend specific business objectives, strategies and plans to support company decision-making processes. Key duties can range from researching customer, company, technical, regulatory and other market information to support strategic planning, analysis and business acquisition, to assessing the effects of market forces on the company's business posture.
Sample Responsibilities, Based on Experience:
· Supports generation of research reports and profiles utilizing resource tools to conduct customers' and business competitive analyses.
· Evaluates competitors' strategic direction, products and services, pricing strategies and core competencies through utilization of industry-wide resources to achieve competitive advantage.
· Leads project teams to innovative and successful completion of business case opportunities, including risk assessment, and contributes to the development of new job practices, techniques and standards.
· Acts as an architect, consultant and mentor for strategy development and use of tools, methods and techniques for formulating strategies from highly complex problems.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. in mathematics, science, engineering or information technology fields.
· Ability to work on complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions.
· Ability to collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data, summarize findings, and develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources.
· Knowledge of product lifecycle, including manufacturing, deployment, modification, aging and continued service, and disposal.
